No complaints. suitable for tripods and monopods

This is great! It's very durable and doesn't feel cheap, it's lightweight but there's nothing crazy or uncomfortable about it. It has a built-in spirit level and a quick release buckle that allows you to detach the camera and place it on the stand. I was looking for similar stands that cost more but this one had more benefits so I gave it a try and I'm glad I did! And I didn't have to break the bank.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some insects

Withstands a heavy camera

Finally found a well-made, solid tripod that costs no more than my mortgage! Every tripod I've tried so far has fallen under the weight of my camera (Nikon P900), despite other reviews. There's no point using a tripod that can't support your camera when you're pointing straight ahead. Well, this one works perfectly. The Nikon P900 weighs around 2 pounds, extends fairly far and is very solid.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great tripod at an affordable price

I have a cheaper and lighter tripod. That's normal in the studio. The Neewer Monopod is a great upgrade for just a few bucks. It's stronger, bigger and has more settings. It has padded handles at the top of all three legs. The legs are adjustable to different heights. The monopod is very comfortable. This thing is adjustable from 70 inches to a desktop tripod. Still lightweight and comes with a carry case. Lot of money.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Clarity

Sturdy isn't the right word (well maybe it is)

I bought a tripod in 1984, it was worn out just not as strong. My photos were sometimes not so clear, so I bought a new one. This one is very strong and stable, I set it up to try it and then my 3 cocker spaniels decided to land under and around the base, the old one would tip over. I like this one from the start. It has a bubble level, very convenient, also the monopod is a plus. The case fits perfectly, light and compact.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Organize a great stand!

Versatile, convertible tripod and monopod. Collapsible for compact storage. Retractable tripod legs and pole. Strong, stable and supportive wide base with bottom hook for extra support when I need it. My camera stays in place, no wobble or shaky shots with a hand lever for smooth pan and roll. With a swivel head mount, I can shoot both vertically and horizontally. Easily detachable for use with a monopod and has a non-slip rubber foot so I know it won't fall out from under me. Organize amazing…

One Step Up is good for camera and photo

Neewer have great camera accessories at a reduced price compared to factory parts and I find some of them very useful. Neewer has this affordable and lightweight aluminum video recording tripod. This represents a huge saving over others that can cost hundreds when doing basically the same thing. It works great, but aside from the three retractable aluminum leg sections and monopod, I didn't find much metal in its components. The hinges, knobs, handles, and pivots that add to the versatility…

  • This is amazing
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Great update here

Great upgrade for my old tripod! This tripod is anything but basic with all the cool features that it comes with and also converts into a monopod with a detachable pole extension. The aluminum construction is very strong and the extension arm raises or lowers in both tripod and monopod modes. The pole and tripod legs have their own non-slip rubber grips on the ends. Monochrome zoomable out to 17 inches, ideal for compact and macro photography. The lever ensures smooth shots and smooth…

Impressive price but great quality

I've destroyed at least 10 tripods in one day but this one is impressive for its price and incredibly well made. Its size can hold my DSLR pretty well and it's pretty durable. And given the weight attached to it, it's relatively light whether I'm using it as a tripod or dismantling the pole for use as a monopod. Pulls out quickly which is great because sometimes I need it when trying to take a quick shot. Tighten all fasteners securely. I especially like the design of the bottom hook, which…
