I enjoyed using this light. It was easy to use, right out of the box. It will definitely replace many other lights because it can do everything. I would recommend it for all types of work as it is very light and portable. Check out my video about it.

I model a lot and love playing with low light and using color. It's less cumbersome than my last old-school setup with softboxes and colored bulbs whose intensity and direction were out of control. It's awesome! Will be ordering another one soon. I only use Neewer lighting equipment, they have never let me down!

I bought this light to insert videos and photos. It was reasonably priced, worked with my standard light stands, plugged in or used with regular Song brand NP-F batteries (sold separately), and allowed me to remotely control it (and other Neewer lights) via an app over Bluetooth. (with bluetooth distance limitations). Test with my video streaming device: Colors are light to very light (adjustable). Can't wait to try this out at my next event.

So far I have been satisfied with these lights. They are smaller and stronger than I expected. (I've had relatively inexpensive LED lights that didn't last very long.) Color quality seems good, and the long-distance connection works well too. The only point of criticism is that the light does not dim evenly down to 0%. When fading, the light reaches about 30-35% brightness and then just goes out. This is frustrating when I use it as a backlight as sometimes I have to dim the light more. Other…

I am really impressed with the quality of this lamp! Very bright and customizable. The backlit display is very useful when working in a dark room. It's perfect for any type of video shoot or ambient lighting you want to complement. These very bright and colorful lights come with a diffuser and drop down doors. Big! I am deducting 2 stars because the app is so bad. Especially since they advertise it so much in the product description. APP: Doesn't connect to Bluetooth unless you allow app permissions LOCATION, CAMERA, and FILES. I chose this primarily for video work but would also make a great steady LED light for photography. I love being able to easily change colors, saturation and brightness with the app. It's also very easy to change the white balance from cool blue to warm yellow.
