Great for my Canon 6D

Works great! The AA battery sled was a great backup idea too! Just make sure you hold it tight enough that everything comes together and there are no problems!

Nice feel and materials.

Canon Battery Grip is $169 and Neewer is $30.99. I bought it with money, it's a cheap grip but it can also extend my Canon's battery life. Other advantages are a pleasant feel and materials.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some small things

Worth the money

I put off the purchase for a long time as I only take pictures, but when I saw the price it made sense to buy it. It fits perfectly on my Canon 6D. And makes battery life much longer. I also really like the grip.

Excellent hold! in accessories

Overall, especially considering the cost, this handle is unbeatable! I bought a new 6D Mark I and installed it on the device. As other users have pointed out, there is a very small gap between the battery and the camera, but it is negligible. The only thing I have is that when I pull it down the dial to pull it into the chamber wiggles, but that doesn't affect the usability of the product in any way. I strongly recommend this product!

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Damaged

Works great for 6D BUT.

Didn't work initially. I put ordinary AA batteries in the camera and nothing. My 6D couldn't even see connections. So I did a little research and found that installing lithium batteries instead works PERFECTLY. Some reviews said the AA camera was a little shaky so the connection didn't work either. If you're like me and wondering why the heck it's not working, try putting in lithium batteries. Otherwise it's great. The material corresponds to the camera body, all buttons work!

Great price with some features

I shoot with a Canon EOS 6D and 60D and for the latter I have a Canon brand grip. I bought a Neewer Vertical Grip for my 6D a few weeks ago and I'm generally very happy with it. The grip is ergonomic and comfortable, the buttons are almost the same as the Canon version, installation is easy and the battery indicator in the camera menu allows you to access both batteries and accurately measure performance and efficiency. Pretty much every reason I would buy a grip goes well with this version. At

Decent grip for the money

Edit: The new grip will hold up even after heavy use at an unbeatable price. The extra battery capacity makes a big difference, definitely recommended, especially for those on a budget. Edit: Had to replace, noticed 1 battery connector is missing for the AA battery holder, it holds six batteries so won't work without it. Otherwise still a decent deal for the money. I bought it mainly to increase the battery capacity of my 6D as I have a couple of large lenses and use wifi for long distanceโ€ฆ

  • Easy to read control panel
