I took a chance and bought this brush dryer. I looked at another brand that was $80, not the one that was $17 back then. I thought "why not?" I have to say this $17 purchase met all of my expectations and some of them. I don't know how I lived my life without this drybrush. I have long, medium/dyed hair down the middle of my back. First, I dried my hair with a regular hair dryer to remove most of the moisture from it. I add it to hair products. Then I parted my hair into strands and used this…

I liked it because it looked nice and I thought it would work well because of the iron look. But I wasn't impressed. I ended up having to use another blower. And I have thin hair. So if you have curly or coarse hair this will not work.

For those of you who wear synthetic wigs and hairpieces, this mode works very well on the MEDIUM setting to smooth frizzy hair. However, it has a very large diameter, so I don't expect it to be useful except for medium or longer models. I would absolutely not use the high setting except for thick human hair or heat resistant synthetic fabrics. For me, the medium setting works great for both my heat and regular synthetics.
