Works, but Wish didn't have branding

. Works as expected but hasn't run any official speed tests. It is easy to get cards out compared to the previous popular model. I just wish these things didn't have big, ugly marks on them.

Doesn't work with phone case!

Difficult to handle with case! To use it with a case you need to buy an extension cord. Most people have some kind of phone case. Otherwise you will have to remove the case. Additional effort.

A good product. There was a problem, the seller fixed it!

The card reader worked properly when delivered. After using it for a few months it stopped working. ** UPDATE ** The seller has requested compliance with their 12 month warranty. It is very nice when the seller supports their products. Thank you Nektek!

It's very fast and works

Very fast although it gets a little warm. I often transfer 30, 40 or 60GB from the card to the 2017 MBP and this reader is almost 3 times faster than my fast Lexar reader. At $20 this is a steal; I just ordered a second one so I always have one with my laptop and one at work.

Does exactly what it should!

Does exactly what it's supposed to do! I can transfer all my photos and videos from my phone to my computer. Frees up storage so I don't have to worry about updating my phone (Samsung) just yet. I'm sure I can think of other ways to use it for storage and transmission. Note: Does NOT come with a microcard (I knew that when I bought it, but don't expect it at this price!). Nicely packaged and easy to open. Good value for money, right on my doorstep!

The device failed, but the seller quickly replaced

My device failed after about 50 days. I contacted the seller and he quickly sent a replacement. The reader is compact and fast, which is why I bought it. I use it with a USB 3.1 Gen 2 port and get around 45MB/s when copying 25MB RAW photo files from the card. These are ScanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-I cards, not UHS-II cards. I don't have USH-II cards, but I bought these to make it even faster for future upgrades.

Great for those who need more phone storage or for on-site photo editing

Many of the new Samsung Galaxy phones no longer have a removable micro SD card slot. If you are one of those people then I highly recommend this. With a micro SD card adapter, you can use the card with this device on your phone right away. It heats up the longer you leave it and that makes it impossible for you to charge it, but for storing video files or lots of pictures or even documents this is great.
