Not for normal outdoor protection.

I have bought this case twice but will not buy it again. Don't expect it to last much longer than a summer outside. I'm in PNW so mild summer weather and only a few hours a day of morning sun. from June-September. However, the material breaks down very quickly and then quickly rips to shreds in stronger winds. We just had a windy day and now the lid has come loose again. This lasted about 5 months outdoors. I would like it stronger. This is really just a temporary protection on the road, not…

Would buy car covers again

Arrived on time. Nicely packaged and ready to go. I bought a big one. It fits my HD Street 750 perfectly. But maybe that's a good thing. It replaced another brand I had for a little over a year. He has two bungees. One on the front wheel and one in the middle. I wish the one in the middle was a little longer. When you hook it in, it presses the lid firmly against the front pins. It worries me because I don't want it to have a hole in it. The bright yellow color is excellent. Allows you to see…

Pros
  • Consistent test results

This coverage was purchased in November 2015 and expired today, January 10, 2017. It is torn in the middle at the top and no longer usable/functional. So this coating lasted a little over a year, which is about 2 half winters or a full winter. It worked well while it lasted, kept my bike dry and weatherproof. Snapshot of what he's been through: The bike lives at about 7,000 feet where it can snow a bit and get windy at times (no big deal). The temperature sometimes drops to puberty, but mostly…

Good full coverage for a large sport tourer

Bought a cover for winter storage in the garage first. Likewise, my biggest concern was the case, which actually fits the bike (Honda ST1300 with factory rack/top case). However, the cover is perfect for the bike, covers everything completely. A nice feature. There is a label on the back of the cap to identify which end goes to the back of the bike. While it doesn't sound like much, trying to align the case yourself can be challenging, and if you're trying to set the case up in the wind, that's

Has worked less than a season, ripped when mounted on a bike.

When I got it I thought it was a pretty decent case for the money. I postponed the review because I wanted to see how it held up. Not very good. I bought it in early May 2018. Today is October 8th, 2018. I had my wiring harness removed and didn't want rain getting into my electrical system. When I put the lid on like I always do, it just fell apart in that triangular area you see in the photos. It didn't even make a particular tearing sound, it just came off on its own. The worst this surface…

Better wrap your bike in aluminum foil

good. where to start Dimensions: I got this for my Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom, no bags (yet) and no bat wing. not exactly a huge bike. However, I still had to return the X-Large for the XX-Large, so it cost me an additional $7 (and UPS charged me $1 for the tape. Fits "medium cruisers with accessories". X-Large fits, but barely and only covers half of the wheels so much for the 'accessories' material that it 'appears' to be well made and roll well I think parachute material is stretchy, durable

Pros
  • It's okay!

  • sparse instructions

Great compact and high quality case for temporary cycling use.

Looking for a great motorcycle cover when you're out on your bike? Well, the Nelson Rigg Deluxe motorcycle case is a very good option. After years of searching for a good motorcycle cover, I may have found what I was looking for. The Nelson Rigg Deluxe Motorcycle Case is a great travel case that comes with a compression bag to compress it down to a very small size. This is very handy when you are traveling on a motorcycle and you only have limited space to carry everything you need. It fulfills

The second cover only lasted 3 1/2 months. Truth!

Not sure if my first review passed or not but I gave it 5 stars for the duration and cost per day ratio. (My first cover review) This case was an excellent buy for me at $47.64. I got my money back in trade. I bought this case on 09/11/2016. I need to park my 2005 Suzuki V-Strom DL-1000 next to my house. I live in southern Nevada with searing heat and melting UV rays. This cover saved my MC plastic, seat and paint and undoubtedly kept it closed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. My MC doesn't have…

A few notes on quality, fit and use

There are people who gave this product a bad rating because they bought the wrong item. This is not a motorcycle outdoor storage case. It is too light and the fabric is not suitable for it. But if you need a travel case then it's hard to beat. I am often on the road with my motorbike for several days. I don't camp (although that would be nice too). Some nights when I check into my motel, I leave my bike unlocked. But when it's foggy on our California coast or during the spring and fall months…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great
