They would work better if I could flip pancakes more easily

They would work better if I could flip pancakes more easily. I found it helpful to coat them with nonstick spray first, but they still don't work perfectly. They are also quite small. I will use them as cookie cutters in the future.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Not automatic

They work fine!

The brush also works great. Put some oil in a frying pan, brush with it and grease the inside and outside of the egg molds. Let the molds and the oil heat up along with the pan. Then pour the egg or omelette into the mold. Reduce heat and cook slowly. I use very large eggs and they fit, but if I put too much water in the scrambled eggs they overflow.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • little things

Not very easy to use.

You must press the mold firmly when filling or the egg will spill out from under the mould. That means cracking an egg in a bowl and seasoning it so you can pour it into the mold with one hand while holding the mold with the other hand. I figured I could just smash the egg right into the mold and it would cook in the shape I wanted. It takes more time and practice to get it right. So the set has replenished my collection of unused gadgets for the time being.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Requires a base

Chemical smell, no Mickey Mouse.

I am dissatisfied with this product. It works fine, but when cooking, it smells horribly of chemicals. We tried them once and my husband got so sick of the smell we threw the food away and put it all in the dishwasher. We started with a new skillet and new eggs and made a regular breakfast that morning. I think it's a very good idea and my children were very enthusiastic. My husband pointed out that you don't have a way to turn the eggs. Since we didn't cook all the way through, I can't confirm

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not satisfied with everything

Cute and fun for kids!

I bought these egg molds to make pancakes for my kids. I have 8 years, 3 years, 1 year. To everyone who loves pancakes and curly food! My middle child who is 3 years old is now very passionate about learning about his shapes so I thought this would be a fun way for him to learn about shapes too! There are 5 shapes: Mickey Mouse, Star, Heart, Flower and Circle. They all have a handle that folds up and down for storage and cooking. They are easy to clean, there is a small gap where the metal…

Pros
  • Premium finish
Cons
  • Factor Set
