I am 88 years old and go to the local gym five days a week. The cars are so close together and I banged my shins on the metal plates so many times my legs looked like I was playing soccer! Bought to protect legs with thin skin. The material feels soft, doesn't scratch and the straps are easily adjustable. After wearing them in the yard for a day and doing odd chores in the yard, the inseam left an imprint that lasted for over half an hour. Not sure why just the long seam did it, but it did. I still love them and use them regularly but the pressure was a surprise considering how comfortable they are.

Bought for gardening. I'm tired of my trimmer nailing my calves sometimes when the line catches on something and twists before it's cut. My family member is prone to scratches on their feet that take a long time to heal. Wearing these leggings has taken away his fear of doing anything as he can go outside, run, garden etc and his feet are protected. They are easy to put on with Velcro fasteners and can be adjusted for the perfect fit. Just note that they must be hand washed and line dried. So if someone wears them regularly, buy two pairs so one can be worn while the other is being washed and dried.

I use them as extra shin protection when mountain biking. I'm doing a 6 mile loop with 900ft of climb on one track. I carry them in my jersey pockets when going up and just put them on before going down. Since I ride 3-4 times a week, various scrapes, cuts and scrapes really add up.
