A friend's computer died and the operating system was flooded. No operating system found. Plus a hardware boot failure. Was wondering if I could recover family photos, documents, etc. Removed the hard drive from my PC and transferred 13GB of family photos to this USB drive so they could transfer the memories to the new PC. I had to do a lot of work to get this flash drive to work due to BitLocker encryption on my work computer, many hours and when I did I found out that this flash drive is constantly disconnected from the computer. My IT expert advised me to use branded flash drives and now I'm passing that advice on to you. The stick came on time and worked as expected. I used it to copy family photos to send to my cousin and sent them today. The 16GB capacity easily accommodated many digital photos previously scanned.

Everything works as expected. I wish the hinged lid had a way to snap it into the structure so it stays closed. But an easy fix is to just wrap it with a little rubber band or something.
