Useless piece of junk

Plugging it into my computer quickly identified it as "Removable Disk". It's good there. Right click on it to show "Properties" to check which format was weirdly called "raw format" (never seen that b4). Hm. When you left-click on it to use it, you immediately got a pop-up warning that it wasn't formatted and asked if you wanted to format it. OK. Bye. No problem. Please format. When I say yes I go to the screen to format it but it doesn't suggest what format I want - FAT32 or NTFS etc - this…

Saved a friend's family memories

A friend's computer died and the operating system was flooded. No operating system found. Plus a hardware boot failure. Was wondering if I could recover family photos, documents, etc. Removed the hard drive from my PC and transferred 13GB of family photos to this USB drive so they could transfer the memories to the new PC. Makes me the hero of the day :thumbs up:

Pros
  • A good thing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Too good to be true

While not a brand name I was recognised, it was too good to be true. a 64 GB USB stick costs less than ten dollars. Reviews seemed mostly positive. In fact, it was so cheap that I ordered two. It really was too good a deal to be true. I'm a computer engineer. I know how to use a flash drive, how to copy files to it, and how to format them. Both drives not only failed to copy files to them, but also failed to format them properly. One of them worked for a while and then failed after just copying

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Constantly disconnected from computer

I had to do a lot of work to get this flash drive to work due to BitLocker encryption on my work computer, many hours and when I did I found out that this flash drive is constantly disconnected from the computer. My IT expert advised me to use branded flash drives and now I'm passing that advice on to you. I have a used PNY that's probably over a decade old and has never broken, and a couple of solid San Disk drives before that. Please pay. extra money for something better and save yourself the

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Worked great and the price is right

The stick came on time and worked as expected. I used it to copy family photos to send to my cousin and sent them today. The 16GB capacity easily accommodated many digital photos previously scanned.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • I will add later

As described. Maybe a feature better.

Everything works as expected. I wish the hinged lid had a way to snap it into the structure so it stays closed. But an easy fix is to just wrap it with a little rubber band or something.

Pros
  • Good assembly
Cons
  • Long

57.9GB not 64GB as advertised

Just plugged it into my computer's USB port and checked the properties of this USB drive. It's actually 57.9GB, not 64GB as advertised. Another thing is that I don't need it today, but I will leave it. I just wanted others to know that fact. I don't normally test my USB sticks but wanted to make sure it was exactly what was claimed as it looks very similar to a Netacs 32GB USB stick as there is nothing labeled on the flash drive, which tells you how much GB the flash drive is. Wanted to make…
