Don't buy a Netgear router, the support is a joke

Incompetent support, they don't fix the problem, after 3 months they want to bill me. RAX78 has had the same problem for 2 years and the firmware has not fixed it. The AX router does not work with the AX WiFi card. after a few minutes/hours or days you lose the bandwidth of the 160 mhz channel.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • No insurance

Not recommended for 2.5G security systems

Have used Netgear for years and have never had any issues with Wi-Fi functionality, but have never had a security system with Wi-Fi. New lessons for me. Apparently 5G didn't recognize 2.5G or was hiding from 2.5G. Anyway, he has another (and it's a cheaper Netgear model) and it welcomed the 2.5G to come and feel at home.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Security

Amazing router in routers

Very easy to set up especially as the router installed previously was a night owl took about 15 minutes easy to pezy passed the speed test from 260 to 400+ mps from the previous nighthawk Router installed which was about 4 years old, internet is spectrum 400 ultra, a home worker so excited for results Monday morning but based on personal use connections my wife and I have seen a difference its worth it. Update, first day with this router, tested the connection, all positive

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • too dumb

High Performance Networking Products

I've had this router for about a month now and so far its performance has been excellent. I haven't had any issues with internet outages or service delays since using it. There was a case when three devices suddenly appeared and the lowest place was technical support. However, nothing has happened since then.

Pros
  • Positive Feedback Only

Awesome new router

The RAX78 is definitely faster than my old AC router. And quite a bit. Setup was also basic, with one exception. It is assumed that you will set up the 2.4GHz band during the initial setup. It becomes a big problem to fix if you don't notice it right away and instead input data for one of the 5GHz bands. The Phone app is well organized and provides the information you need to manage your router. 2 things to worry about: NetGear announced a Wifi6E router within a month after I bought this Wifi6…

Pros
  • Quad core 1.5GHz processor - more processing power increases the overall performance of your network
Cons
  • Hard to say
