I bought this sprayer to try out the paint cabinets in my garage. This is fantastic. The main thing is the right dilution. I used Rustoleum water-based paint for the cabinets and Behr paint for the doors and trim (gloss and semi-gloss). Both worked great when properly diluted. I've found that 1.5 ounces of water per 12 ounces of Rustoleum works best and about 1.75 per 12 ounces for Behr paint. I needed to paint the barn, didn't want to roll it so I bought this Ne Master airbrush in hopes I could use it with acrylic paint. I started with Kilz 2 primer, had to thin it with water until I had a viscosity of about 60-70 Din. Worked great, works like clockwork. They washed it off with water and proceeded to thin the acrylic, didn't need to thin as much as the paint was thinner than the Kilz primer. The color matched perfectly, so fast. Note on all these sprayers - you must enter the correct viscosity. It's not just "pour and paint". YOU MUST BE IN THE ACCEPTABLE VISCOSITY RANGE (and make sure you don't have any lumps). This package includes both a viscosity meter and an optional cover. With all of these self-contained air atomizers, you *should* get the right viscosity.
