🧴 Oil-Free Cleanser - Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Daily Facial Scrub, 4.2 fl. Oz Review

Can't find it in stores anymore but I'll keep looking. This is the ONLY cleanser that keeps my skin clean and doesn't irritate me. I have combination skin and post-accutane sensitivity, which I always will have.

The original formula has been replaced with this one which is much worse for your skin. Note that alcohol is the second ingredient. Revain needs to change their ad if this is the product they are currently shipping.

I have been using this product for my breakout prone combination skin for over 10 years. I regularly get compliments on my skin as it is a great deep cleanser/exfoliator for the oily T-zone that doesn't break out and is gentle enough on the rest of my face for everyday use. The tool I just bought in January is radically different in that it's a "new improved formula” – it's scratchy to the touch, doesn't penetrate deep into pores; the face afterwards is dry and tight and not soft and smooth…

The product has been completely changed and the ingredients are no longer as described above. For example, jojoba is no longer an ingredient. The refurbished product doesn't smell that great anymore, has a greasy feel and is difficult to wash off and I won't be using it in the future. I've been using this for years and wonder why it was changed when as many regulars as I did loved this cleaner the way it was.

I've been using this face scrub for as long as I can remember and my son has even started using it. That was the best. Unfortunately, the new formula is absolutely terrible. It smells bad, it feels greasy, there are no more microballoons to consider it peeling. I don't even feel like I'm cleaning my face. I don't write reviews often, but I hope the company sees those reviews and goes back to the original formula. I'm throwing away this crap and looking for a new product.

I have been using this product for about 15 years. I have oily skin and my face kept getting clearer and I felt great after showering EVERY MORNING. They just reformulated it and removed most of the original ingredients. BIG mistake - it stops working and leaves you with a greasy and rough face every morning. Epic failure! I have been using this face scrub for over ten years now. This was my favorite facial wash and to be honest I never had to change my skincare routine with this one. But unfortunately the new formula is terrible. This makes my skin very oily and leaves a film. Doesn't clean like it used to. The taste is also completely different. Granular "microbead" scrub. This is my favorite facial cleanser. If I use it constantly and then do spa facials, they do very little if any extractions. This is good for easy care skin. It would be nice if the packaging allowed using the entire product. I cut off the top and get a lot near the release hole.
