👟 Boys' Shoes: New Balance 574V1 Essentials Sneakers Review

I usually avoid writing reviews but I had to share. As an adult, I wear New Balance to run and I love them, but these kids' New Balances fell apart completely after two months of wear. My son is 6 years old and very active so I understand but this is the second pair I have bought for him and within a few months they have literally burst at the seams. Very disappointed that the shoes I pay more for don't last. Let's move on to the next brand.

This shoe is best suited for children who do not have long, narrow feet. New Balance suited my athletic daughter better than any other brand. Great shoes! Highly recommended.

My daughter loves these shoes. They're perfect for wearing to school and romping around the playground. They fit great and are not too loose.

Bought these for my brother who has very small feet for a grown man and JUST LOVES them. they fit great and look just as good.

Great shoes for kids and adults. The only difference is that this kid version has a slightly lower heel/toe than the adult version.

These shoes last a long time, look good and offer a comfortable fit to everyone who wears them. They're the perfect weight to weight ratio and they're really comfortable on the inside and overall they fit perfectly and offer great support. They are worth the price because they last longer than cheaper shoes so they get a really big 4 stars from me.

I thought they were a little wider. My little one has wide feet. I had trouble putting them on. Even when I untied the laces, they were a bit tight. My little one wore them all day.

Too bad - in one week a shoe fell apart completely. I don't know if it was bad quality to begin with or if I received the shoes from a faulty batch - but I paid $45 for a kid's shoe and was very upset that it fell apart.

Comfortable, durable and goes with any outfit. Great running shoes for active toddlers and toddlers. Third pair I bought for my kids. First there was Velcro; Now for the laces. All couples were strong. Buy cheap children's shoes. They don't wear them much, but buy good sneakers - they live in them.

Comfortable and cute. Please note that I have a large size. The sole is not as high as in adults. I'm a woman with smaller legs so I can carry them. I usually wear women's size 6.5 or 7. I've walked 26,000 steps in Paris and I'm in no pain lol.

I like the shoes but the fit is very different from Nike and adidas. My LO has been wearing a 2 for a while so I went with a 2.5 to give it a little more room. He probably needed 1 or 1.5. So they will be in his closet for a while before he can put them on. Although I love the shoes!

My son has to wear ALL black shoes as part of his uniform and he wears them and doesn't complain. So I'm inclined to think that NB lived up to its name.

I bought them for my son. They look great but are very poorly made. After a few wears, the upper material came off the sole. I had to throw them away as they were beyond repair in October! Not worth the money.

I have 8 pairs of New Balance sneakers in different colors and styles. I am an adult woman with small feet and wear size 5 NB children's shoes. They are incredibly narrow and short in length. In fact, I would say the "widths" were even narrower than usual. Other reviews have mentioned this, but I wanted to give it a try. I'm giving 3 stars because the colors are crisp and I love the silver trim on the heel which wasn't that obvious in the photo. Too bad we had to send them back.

My 9 year old is very particular about the fit of his shoes. He has wide, flat feet. I ordered them a size up because he doesn't like his legs getting pinched. It's been almost a year now and this shoe is still his favorite for comfort, width and arch support. Better still, they look good with a little wear. The more I wash them, the better they look. I can't believe how good these shoes are! My only complaint is having to change the laces.

These are GREAT shoes! I have a very active toddler who is very picky about shoes and so far they have held up well. I ended up going to the New Balance website to print out the sizing chart for the shoe my child had their foot in so I could measure and then went back to Revain to order. It would be nice if this was available on Revain. I will say that I don't like the laces, they are very long and even if you tie them with a double knot, they come off easily.
