The product is made in Vietnam. this is very unexpected. However, I did not send it back. Please indicate this in the description. I will never buy from a seller again.

So unfortunately I had to send them back. Not the fault of Best Buy or New Balance. My son is in an awkward middle ground between boys' and men's shoes. They are really beautifully made, leather upper, slim style and both my son and husband love the shoes. I ordered a size 6 but the shoes just fitted so he asked for a size up. never mind As I said, it is in a delicate intermediate state.

I have size 1E; The shoes started to hurt after a short wearing time. I compared the size to my other New Balance and there is a clear difference in width.

The 574 series is my favorite New Balance shoe line. I tried a few of these in different colors and found them very comfortable and pretty enough to wear even in a semi-casual setting. I agree with some reviewers that the overall quality has deteriorated over the years, but so has the price. So I just change my shoes more often, not every two years, maybe once a year. These shoes are very comfortable and stay in place. I was looking for something to wear in my everyday office life that is a little different from the pumps, moccasins and everyday shoes I usually wear. I think the color is nice but not flashy and is shown correctly on the Revain image. My only complaint is that the laces are a bit off-white. I took them off after wearing them for the first day and noticed that all three pairs of sneakers I own are made by New Balance so I may be a bit biased…

These are great shoes; I wear them almost every day for serious walks, walks around town and just at home. This is my second pair of New Balance 574s - the first pair are still working after a few years of use. So I'd say buy them with confidence, with one caveat. I find the New Balance sizes a bit small, so I go half a size up. This works for me, but your mileage may vary. It may be worth buying your first pair at your local shoe store to determine your size and then ordering additional pairs…
