New Balance 574V1 Synthetic Sneaker Men's Shoes in Fashion Sneakers Review

I had bought this shoe from a store before and knew it would fit. Old shoes wore out well and were expensive. This new shoe had additional reflective surfaces. I am an avid hiker and these surfaces are important to me. I walk 3-8 miles a day and the shoes have lasted over a year.

I like New Balance because every shoe is the same size. These fit as expected. I wear a pair of sneakers almost every day so they have many uses. They seem to wear out first on the outsole and insole. That being said, I am still using them a few years later to work in the garden and go to the dog park. money well spent.

Bought this for my husband as he only wears one shoe and that's it . he said this one was narrower than his last pair. I'm not sure if it's just because his last one was a little stretched. I bought another pair of waxed canvas wraps, half a size larger, and he liked it better. Overall this shoe is great, comfortable and durable.

These shoes are often advertised as "lifestyle shoes" and rightly so. They look great and go with almost everything from khakis and ties to shorts, all in a cool retro style. However, I would not choose this shoe for running or exercising. They're casually comfortable, but compared to a pair of 2014 Nikes or Reeboks, they almost feel like Converse. So basically if you buy them for everyday walking and retro vibes you will be very satisfied. If you're buying these to run, then you'd expect 1985…

The only disappointment was the color when I opened the packaging. Here it has been enhanced for a better look (or it could be my laptop's IPS screen). The red color is not as bright as advertised. I wanted something darker and richer. These look a bit boring. However, I really like the shoes. The size chart is accurate for me. They cost about $40, definitely not $70.
