This shoe is very soft, similar to a Hoka style running shoe with a large cushion underneath. Because of this, it looks very soft. These aren't the kind of shoes that make you feel like you're low on the ground.

I only buy New Balance. This pair offers great support. Specially developed for unpaved roads. You can also walk on concrete.

Too tight on regular width so I bought wide ones and they looked like puffy pillows on my feet and I floated in them when the medium width was good for the top minus the width.

Love this shoe it has worked great for a few 20 mile days right from the start definitely not for a mix of tarmac and road it's trail or die entire route in the field. The only thing missing is keeping the tongue centered like the street version.

These shoes are as comfortable as they come, especially if you need x-wide shoes like me. But with the high price of the shoe, there is no fixation on the tongue. So my left tongue twists to the left within 10 steps and creates a strange feeling. I have no idea why NB decided to drop this standard item that even cheap shoes have.
