The WORST children's shoes ever bought. Deserves ZERO stars.

The material of the shoes, including the stitching and leather glue, started falling apart within 15 days of my child wearing these shoes. Revain couldn't get our money back so we were stuck with a terrible pair of shoes that we had to throw away. Don't buy these shoes. These are not genuine New Balance shoes - they are just fake JUNK shoes. I wish I had taken my money and flushed it down the toilet.

Pros
  • Our grandchildren love these shoes.
Cons
  • Shoes can have a hard inner sole that can cause discomfort.

Adorable but my daughter's feet get dirty

I don't know why but since I bought these shoes my kid comes home every day with dirty feet due to shoes and socks. This has never happened to me with any other shoe. I'm not sure if it's a mesh, but it's frustrating. The shoes are well made and adorable, but it's a bit frustrating.

Pros
  • My child has wide feet. Ideal
Cons
  • The shoes didn't fit. I had to send them back. I tried to order another pair in a different size but they were out of stock.

great shoes: my review

These are the only shoes our grandson wears. We always buy them in white but blue is his favorite color so he loves these shoes. We will continue to buy them in blue

Pros
  • Great shoe, perfect for playing! Our favorite!
Cons
  • The price may be too high for some families

The best shoes yet for our little toddler's big feet

We tried 8 different pairs of sneakers for our almost 2 year old. So far this is the best. Your legs are a little thicker. Most other shoes are too tight and difficult to put on.

Pros
  • This is the widest shoe I've ever seen. Just as we need it! Soal could be more flexible, but it's enough.
Cons
  • Shoes may be too narrow for children with high arches.

Fits great, but falls apart quickly

My daughter is wearing her second pair of these shoes. She loves the fit and we're glad we found them as not many kids' shoes come in a wide range. However, for the price, I would have liked them to last a little longer.

Pros
  • I had to resize.
Cons
  • They came in a used box, a napkin, dirty. Not so happy

Very very bad quality

The pink lining of the shoes landed on my daughter's socks while drying. I can't believe for the money we spent on these shoes the inner lining was color. Very, very disappointing.

Pros
  • Great shoe, good support while maintaining flexibility.
Cons
  • Shoes can have a hard upper that can chafe the skin.

Great running shoes! to my rating.

Excellent running shoes. My 7 year old loves them. She dropped bows and I've heard NBs are best for this. As another reviewer said, the pink dye in the sneakers made her socks pink. This is so crazy and very annoying. Washes out 85%. I had to buy her different colored socks to cover up the color. RRRRR

Pros
  • Great show for kids, gives good support and looks really cool.
Cons
  • Shoes can cause blisters or hot spots on the feet.

The thread snaps at the sock

My daughter has been wearing this shoe for a little over a month and there is a thread sticking out at the toe of the shoe. I wanted to return it as we bought it in early April and now it's the end of May and it says the return deadline was May 5th 2019.

Pros
  • Perfect sneakers for my picky kid. He has also held up extremely well.
Cons
  • Shoes can cause blisters or chafing

Comfortable, good price but falls apart easily

Comfortable, looks good. Good price. Worn out in less than 3 months. The toe area has come off. The seller only accepts returns if the product has not been worn, in the original packaging and within 30 days. The other pair performed better but also has a hole and the toe guard is just starting to peel off at 3 months.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Shoes may not have enough room for children wearing orthotics.

Beautiful shoes for toddlers with insoles.

I love these shoes for my 2 year old daughter. She was diagnosed with "rollover flatfoot" and we were put in orthotics to correct it. These shoes have removable inserts and fit your foot perfectly when the inserts are installed. I'm on my second pair as it grows. At first I bought a regular width, but this time I went for a large one to better accommodate the insoles.

Pros
  • Perfect for fast holds and action.
Cons
  • Shoes can be difficult to put on and take off

I love these shoes in my mind

My son, he is 4 years old, hates shoes. I wore it today and have not complained. This is victory. Easy to put on and hold. We only have them one day but I'm happy! New Balance never disappoints. I'm buying this for my husband and myself too.

Pros
  • My daughter liked it. She continued talking about how convenient it was. It's worth every penny!
Cons
  • Shoes cannot be waterproof, making them unsuitable for wet weather.

Wide shoes are best

The best wide shoes there is. They are expensive but a must! Stride rite is garbage! My 4 year old has never broken a pair before outgrowing them. We buy these 2x wide boots from New Balance for 2-3 years.

Pros
  • nice little shoes
Cons
  • Shoes may not be comfortable enough for children who walk frequently.

2nd time buy the best in my rating

My son loves these sneakers. He needs extra width. Bought last year and his foot has grown so much with this exact shoe. Beautiful red colour. Velcro is strong and fits perfectly. My son has very wide feet and it doesn't bother him. They are stiff at first but wear well and withstand daily use by a very active 3 year old (now 4th) child.

Pros
  • My daughter has very wide feet but these fit her perfectly.
Cons
  • Shoes must not be of different sizes.

Ideal for SMO braces

They are ideal for SMO owners. I am ordering them in 6 weeks for my little daughter who wears these braces. I went half a size up as the SMO can push the foot forward in the shoe as the brace itself is wider than normal to compensate for the width of the brace. The Velcro strap is long enough to span the entire toe of your foot and allows you to adjust the fit for a secure fit. Worth the price if you are looking for a durable shoe that adapts to children with different needs.

Pros
  • My little girl loves her sperry
Cons
  • Shoes may not be versatile enough to be worn with different styles of clothing.

Good for orthopedics - my new test report

These extra wide shoes are perfect for my daughter's SMO. I took out the cushioning inserts, but overall a very good orthopedic shoe.

Pros
  • You are exactly what we were looking for! Arrived quickly and fits perfectly!
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide enough arch support for children who need them.

Not very durable.: my rating

These shoes didn't last very long. I liked that he didn't have to tie them, but he only wore them for a few months before they started falling apart. I can't believe we have to replace them before he even outgrows them. waste of money.

Pros
  • These shoes actually fit my daughter's AFO without being too big, just a size up!!
Cons
  • Shoes can have poor traction on slippery surfaces.

My daughter is in between sizes and her feet are slightly wider. I ordered them in the smaller of the two sizes but I went for the wide width and they fit perfectly! This is a great pair of durable, functional and comfortable shoes. My daughter loves them and claims to have won a few break races with them. They look like shoelaces, but you only need Velcro to take them off and on. This makes them perfect if your child is new to tying their shoelaces or is struggling to do so. It saved us 5-10…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Older model

Great for kids who need more space

My granddaughter has a gait disorder ("club foot") and wears Sure Steps insoles to correct this problem. They must be in her shoes, and ever since she got them, it's been my mission to find shoes that fit those damn things! I've searched everywhere and finally found new running shoes, which are the only ones I've found that are very wide (there are orthopedic shoes that are expensive and look "orthopedic" and there's no point spending that much money on a 5 year old kid who grows like weeds and

Pros
  • ABZORB heel
Cons
  • Can't remember

Baby likes nice shoes, mom likes orthotics that fit them

Any parent of a child who wears orthotics (SMO, AFO, etc.) knows how impossible it is to XW- to find shoes. . Not to mention the cute and normal looking XW sneakers that actually fit well and are easy to slip on and off. I was blown away by the variety of colors and the fact that there are youth sizes up to 7 XW. Of course I immediately ordered two different pink and gray and pink. yes 3 pairs My teenage daughter is in love with these shoes and won't take them off even though they're summer…

Pros
  • Leather/mesh upper
Cons
  • Crease
