Bought these for my 12 year old and they really suit him and they are comfortable too. The real color of the shoes is the same as the picture (sometimes the real color is different). I recommend them.

For some reason, New Balance is the only athletic shoe company on the planet that makes "big kid" shoes in oversized widths. I am so thankful for that, otherwise my 10 year old son would have been forced to go barefoot. This is his favorite brand and style of shoe. He usually just buys a pair and wears them every day until they wear out (they last 6-8 months).

In the last 3 years I have bought New Balance 888xw for my granddaughter. She switched from orthopedic SMO to UCB but still needs XW. These shoes always fit great right out of the box. The inserts can be removed for more legroom. I liked their color - gray with pink, and I bought the size you had in stock. They are too big but my granddaughter will grow up in them. I just wish they would suggest other colors for the 888xw tie.
