I'm giving these shoes 3 stars mainly because I think there is some sort of manufacturing defect on this pair and I'm personally a New Balance fan. I bought these to replace a pair of 7W Stride Rites that were too small for my son. The 7.5W New Balance I ordered was about the same size as the shoes I was looking to replace, maybe less wide. The style of the shoe is fantastic, they look much better in real life. We have the same issue with the toe box detaching from the front of the shoe, but this always happens with any shoe with this toe box. The sole is stitched to the top of our shoes, so it's not as bad as the other person's photo, but you can see it after wearing it for a long time.
