Finding the right shoes for boys with wide feet can sometimes be difficult, especially in the kids sizes we currently stock. I am giving these shoes 3 stars mainly because I believe there was a manufacturing defect on this pair and I am personally a New Balance fan. I bought these to replace a pair of 7W Stride Rites that were too small for my son. The 7.5W New Balance I ordered was about the same size as the shoes I was looking to replace, maybe less wide. The style of the shoe is fantastic, they look much better in real life. We have the same issue with the toe box detaching from the front of the shoe, but this always happens with any shoe with this type of toe box. The sole is stitched to the top of our shoes, so it's not as bad as the other person's photo, but you can see it after wearing it for a long time.
