Fit in place. They are super comfy. I just don't understand the sole. The outsole only has a few rubber patches on the heel and heel. The rest is foam and will last about as long as you would expect foam to last on concrete or a black surface. NB what did you think? The sole is mostly flat, would it be that hard to glue a vibram plate to the bottom?

I'll start by using New Balance running shoes for a few years. Comfortable, can easily walk a few hundred miles, they look good etc. The first time I wore this pair, the lace loop broke when putting on my shoes at the gym. I managed to drag her to where I could awkwardly end my run. I replaced them with a new pair and had no issues with the laces, but the soles on these shoes wore out about twice as fast as any other pair I've bought from New Balance. I would avoid it.
