    Great fit, lousy quality

    After months of having pain in my feet, I went to an orthopedist who diagnosed me with a hammer toe that was causing me a lot of pain. She recommended New Balance shoes to me. They fit great and were honestly the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The pain in my legs disappeared almost overnight.     Cut shorter b in my review

    The neckline is much shorter than the regular New Balance 11.5. At least half a size smaller. I have many New Balance 11.5 tennis shoes that fit perfectly. They were half short.

    The toe is not wide enough for me

    Based on the description, you would think the 13 X-Wide has enough toe room for 12 1/2 feet. No. Even after wearing them on shoe trees for several months, they are still too tight on the toes.

    They run small, order one size larger than you normally wear.

    I'm starting out on the trails and I love the New Balance shoes so I went for these. They seem strong enough, but they are definitely smaller than the description says. I compared them to New Balance sneakers of the same size, but these boots were 1/2" to 3/4" shorter. My advice: order more than usual and use the Try Before You Buy feature.

    Garbage! Falling apart in less than 3 months!

    Bought these for my adult son for his birthday in May and it has only been 2 months and the front sock is literally falling apart. My husband has always used New Balance and loves them and we are furious that we spent almost $200 on shoes that are falling apart in just over 2 months!

    The best shoes for my feet. I've been wearing them for 20 years now. Difficult to find... best place to buy them is Revain. I have type 2 diabetes and these shoes have allowed me to walk all day at work. I buy a new pair every year when they become available.

    This boot lasted 6 months!

    Boots purchased in December 2021 are still in excellent condition except the (non-replaceable) soles are worn and peeling. $130 boots should last at least a year!

    BUYED MY SIXTH PAIR OF THESE BOOTS

    These are great all-round boots for just about anything: hiking (but probably not heavy hiking), town wear, lawn mowing, vacations, any time of the year. NB discontinued it for a couple of years and then brought it back. Outsole with excellent grip (see note below), good heavy leather, waterproof membrane, comfortable.     Great replacement

    This is a replacement for my old New Balance 975 that lasted 9 years. The number is higher, so this is a newer version and perfect. Everything seems the same, but I ordered the "narrow" version. I didn't know there was a slim version until I saw it on Revain.

    Works little for a new balance

    I always buy New Balance running shoes and sneakers. I have very wide feet and 10 xw always fit me. Unfortunately, they were quite narrow compared to other models. Buy big. I like the boot but there is no XW in 10.5.

    Comfortable tourist in my rating.

    This hiking boot was used on a 7 day hike through mountainous, rocky terrain. It feels stiff initially but works great on rocks and rough terrain. You don't feel the stones. It is waterproof, passed through wet weather and rivers. My feet stayed dry.

    Doesn't fit like other New Balance shoes

    I've been wearing New Balance shoes in size 9 4E for 15 years. Always a good, comfortable fit - so far. The toe box was very narrow and the width of the shoe was closer to a 2E. The ankle cuff was very painful - I couldn't even use the top lace hook. Wore them around the house for about 2 hours and was ready to send them back. Very disappointed with this shoe.

    Very Hot Shoe: Walking

    This is a well tailored New Balance shoe. comfortable to wear but it is also a very warm shoe. I keep mine for the warmer months. My socks got wet during the two days I wore them outside in Dallas, Texas during the summer. They have good support, fit well and don't lace up, all of which are important things when it comes to roof inspection. However, I need more breathability to keep my feet cool and dry. It seems to me that GoreTex did not give anything, maybe in winter it will help.

    Great boots! on Athletic

    I have a 4E foot so I have a hard time finding shoes. New Balance is the brand I know, I can buy 10.5 4E and they fit perfectly from day one. What I love about these boots is the ankle support. I've had weak ankles my whole life so these boots are fantastic. Not only do they feel great, but they are also very supportive. I highly recommend it.

    Bought these sneakers to replace the previous pair - this pair was bought more than 8 years ago, rode more than 200 km on the AT, lived a hard life - I realized that it was so was time to get new ones.
