After the first day, the stitching began to unravel, allowing the shoe's "tongue" to adjust with use. It also weakened the shoe's lacing stability. I would have sent them back in a heartbeat but my son threw away his old pair in excitement and we needed them for school. I will not buy it again nor recommend it.

We like them, but a week before I bought my daughter a small children's NB sneaker, size 2.5, in another store. We ordered size 3 for small children and both shoes seem to be the same size. We were hoping they were a little bigger. They appear to be half a size smaller as they are exactly the same size as their smaller pair. Also, my daughter loves the fit of the NB sneakers and the color combo goes with all of her outfits. Happy 8 year old.

We searched and searched for shoes for little soccer players and didn't want to spend a fortune. I had New Balance and liked them a lot so I didn't worry when I was choosing new shoes for my baby. The shoes and colors are amazing and she absolutely loves them. I really like that the tongue on the shoe doesn't try to go all the way to the toe when you press on the shoe and the laces seem to stay knotted and not untied which is great when running across the field . This is how the shoe looks after two weeks of indoor use. My son wears boots on the street and boots in sports. So they were only worn in class. He wears boots to school and puts them on in his locker. I can only wonder what they would look like if he actually wore them outside! I give this shoe 2 stars because apart from the toe box it's a good shoe and it looks good. I suppose a person could just keep painting their toe with black marker, but who wants to keep doing that!

My child has a narrow foot and I know NB normally fits a straight narrow foot but these (regular size, not a special narrow fit) are very narrow! She wore them on the worst hike we've ever done because she kept complaining about how awful the shoes felt. I've had other NB trail shoes in the past that were great, not this one. There seemed to be no space at all on the sides of her legs. Very small. If you have anything other than a very narrow foot, I would try a wide one instead.

My daughter's last pair of New Balance sneakers is literally a year old and the only thing wrong with it is that the tread is worn in places (she wore them almost every time). Day).
