    Questionable durability

    The shoes look great. Easy to put on and comfortable for my son. Good traction. Durability is questionable as the toe box is glued instead of sewn and falls apart after 1 month of wear.

    I don't think it lasts long

    I received them for my son in the first week of September. He's been wearing them every other day for a month, this is the first week of October and the toe is coming off and there are already holes/tears on the sides.

    You were perfect. Wide enough and no laces

    We bought this shoe for our son who wanted something "cool" and sporty, but it also fits his braces (AFO). You were perfect. Quite wide and without laces. I will buy again.

    Good quality - my new review

    The quality is good as expected. My child wears them. He is very active and our shoes usually don't last long. We've had this pair for a few months and I haven't seen any signs of water yet. Will most likely buy the same model if our foot size changes.

    Velcro layers are detached. upset.

    Velcro layers came off in less than 3 months of use. We love New Balance and the shoes were nice and comfortable so that was very disappointing.

    Fell apart in a week

    I'm usually lucky with this brand, but this shoe came loose at the toe. I bought from Walmart after having a terrible experience at a local store in town. Now I'm wondering if New Balance is losing quality.

    i wanted to love her

    When I saw them, I immediately wanted them for my daughter. The colors are amazing. When she tried them on, she said they looked weird. They have absolutely no cushioning that she needs because her feet are flat and wide. I was so disappointed. Then I waited too long to get them back so now I'm trying to sell them to someone.

    The quality of New Balance is now on the level of the AMC Gremlin.

    Very disappointing, didn't even last a month. my son has only been wearing them for 3 weeks and the top is already worn out. I have always believed that New Balance offers wide and high-quality shoes, so this reduction in quality is unacceptable.

    Works great for a 6 year old boy

    Double strap shoes are hard to find and they are perfect for my son who likes to wear tight shoes. The Velcro lasted 5 months at school. Would definitely buy again.

    Lightweight yet durable shoes

    Good material, good children's shoes. I decided to invest in better shoes and I was happy with my choice. My daughter loves that these are very comfortable and lightweight shoes.

    Great cheap shoes.

    Great durable shoe. My son wore them for most of the school year with no issues other than the expected dirt, which I cleaned off with toothpaste and baking soda. He also wears an AFO on one leg and the wide size was perfect for his needs.

    Not the quality you expect from New Balance

    As a fan of New Balance I am disappointed with the support and quality of their shoes. Bought these for our little guy five weeks ago and they are already worn out. The velcro has snapped, the sole and sock are worn out and I reckon we probably have about two or three weeks of use left. His previous pair of Saucony's lasted 5 months, they've worn a lot, he just put them on. growth spurt. Disappointing that I have to buy another pair before it even got too big.

    Wouldn't buy a second time

    New Balance have a really great product and we have a lot of their shoes at home and two little guys walking around but I wouldn't buy this particular shoe again. Bright orange is cool for the first week, until your little one inevitably gets them dirty and they look awful. They hide no dirt at all. The velcro tongues ripped the top layer off the velcro backing for the first few weeks so we have to put them on without using the velcro strip or we risk just ripping off the entire tongue to keep…

    Poor quality

    I bought several pairs of these shoes for my son. In early September I bought a size smaller and half a size larger. The smaller one fitted well but I left the larger one as I really liked the style and fit. However, the couple split after 6 weeks.
