These shoes are great! Size meets my expectations, not too big and not too small. I bought the size I knew my son had at the time so they fit perfectly. Of course, that meant they wouldn't last until he was an adult, but that's okay. The shoes have withstood the hard playing of my sons. He loves them so much that I have to enlarge them now that he has outgrown them.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. We bought my son's width size because we were struggling to find shoes that fit him. The shoes fit well but you have to make an effort to put them on your child's foot. Other reviews even mention it. When my little one doesn't want shoes, it's almost impossible to put them on and he takes them off in 2 seconds. Our kindergarten has forbidden us to send our son to school in them because they are very heavy. Very expensive and not practical at all.

Love love love these tennis shoes. We've always been the Nike people but I bought a pair a few months ago and LOVE them. Most fashionable children's tennis shoes have no support and are almost flat. This new balance has a lot of support. Two things that I immediately noticed are that they run small, but I would order half a size up. My daughter is 7.5, I ordered 8 and they fit her almost perfectly. Secondly, there is no toe loop at the back which means my independent 2.5 year old daughter…
