I can't believe the poor quality of the most important part of the shoe. The soles are beginning to peel off and I've only worn them for maybe 8 days in the month I've had them on.

You can hurt the arch of your foot if your arch is about as high as mine. I don't really care about arch support as my arches are fine but my femurs were sore and bruised for the first week of wearing them. Tied as loosely as possible, they're still too tight on my feet. If you have a lower arch or require a slimmer fit, they will likely fit you perfectly.

shoes fit as expected and look great. The only thing to note is that the tongue is attached to the shoe itself, which can be a bit inconvenient, but in my case it's not a problem.

I really like the shoes and I like the new balance. I have several pairs of New Balance and don't usually try them on knowing I'm 9 medium in most styles. This particular style runs half a size larger in length.

I love these shoes but they weren't what I expected. In fact, they are non-slip, the tongue is fully attached to the shoe. The laces are mostly for show, but you can tweak them a bit. I was expecting old style NB shoes.

I rarely review shoes straight away, but I was very impressed by my previous (positive) experience with New Balance and the first day I wore them to work. What I look for in a work shoe is support, breathability and, most importantly, good looks. I've had many compliments and even without insoles for work, they worked great throughout the work shift. I work at a veterinary clinic and am on my feet all day on a hard concrete floor. Definitely recommend!
