Great shoes, comfortable

Great shoes, comfortable. This is my second pair of New Balance in a similar style. Lasts about 8 months with almost daily wear.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Comfortable shoes on Athletic

Great fit. NB Vongos have changed the toe height compared to the previous 3 versions. This style has a higher peak in case you need more space. The pillow is great, especially when you're on your feet all day.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • I will add later

Good arch support and good for flat feet

This is one of two pairs I bought to upgrade my worn out cheap running shoes. They have pretty good arch support for more mileage and comfort. i am 5 years old "5" 140 pounds size 7-7.5; I've been riding since 7.5 and so far so good

Pros
  • Easy to fit
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Poor quality of fabric

Although I liked the fit and the neon pink color, the fabric at the top started falling apart and had big holes after 5 months of casual use (60 miles). The tread is not heavily worn, but at the moment they are practically unusable due to the poor quality of the fabric. I am a regular customer of new balance and have never experienced problems like this. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great shoe for training/competition

Although everyone's running shoes are different, this is a great stabilizing shoe. It definitely helps with speed and is good for running, although the laces are a bit long. and also the side of the shoe is closer to the inside of the ankle, it's quite stiff, could be a bit softer, but other than that the shoe is great, comfortable and does me a lot when running long and short distances.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Empty

Wow, great sneakers!

Now I understand what it means to walk in sneakers. These shoes have good cushioning and make it easier to walk on your feet. It's hard to explain but they're jumping forward and I'm feeling less tired after a middle run. New Balance sneakers run small from 1/2 to full size so I go up the size. Once you find your NB shoe size, they all appear to be the same size. I have been running for many, many years and have tried many running shoes. This one is my favourite.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Updates

Ok but not great!

They are wider than expected and the material feels very cheap and scratchy. It reminds me of something between burlap and a reusable grocery bag. I'm not a fan of the NB symbol scattered above. I was skeptical seeing it in the picture but personally it was too much. For $100, the quality just doesn't match the price. NB hit or miss, more. The cushioning seems comfortable after a very short period of wearing it around the house, but I hated how the upper felt. I returned them.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Felt good straight away but let me down after ten miles

They fit great and I had high expectations. But after running ten miles I found they didn't provide the support I needed and my toe pads hurt from the lack of cushioning. The heel pad seems fine. In addition, the shape of the back of the heel makes it difficult to put on the shoes. You practically have to unlace them to be loose enough to slip them on because the heel shape is so narrow and stiff. They might not be good for more than 5K, but they really aren't the best distance runners - at…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Useless features
