Not the same as previous versions

I've used the last few generations of 1080s but this version seems completely different to me. They felt stiffer and had less cushioning/structure around the midfoot and foot opening. Also, there is no longer a protective plastic/rubber cap on the toe, so I'm concerned that my toe will be worn out in a few weeks. I have a flat feeling and pronation, but I don't need a supportive shoe because the arch and stiffness make me uncomfortable. I prefer an arch support sock or arch wrap. I narrowed my choices down to New Balance 1080v9 (NB) and Brooks Glycerin16 (Brooks) and tried both. When I looked at the reviews, a lot of people commented that the Brooks…

I never write reviews so please read if you have foot problems!

To be honest I never write reviews but I found it necessary when someone is going through the same thing as me. my feet/fingers for about a year. So began my adventure of finding a pair of running shoes that could keep me going while running. A year before my pain I was training and running a half marathon on an Asics Nimbus 18 (the best model of the Nimbus). Unfortunately after a few years of using ebay as a shoe source I had to look for new shoes as every runner knows the new models were…
