Description of Vibrant & Versatile: Introducing New brothread 12 Bright Colors Mercerized Cotton Threads for Quilting, Sewing & Embroidery

★ 100% Gassed and Mercerized cotton thread: made from high quality, Extra-long staple cotton which is stronger than normal cotton; produced under special gassing and mercerizing process, giving thread less lint, smoother surface, greater luster and matt look. ★ Multi-purpose: 30WT(50S/3) and 600M(660Y) mercerized cotton thread can be widely used for quilting, piecing, machine sewing, hand sewing, heavy machine embroidery and light hand embroidery etc. ★ Ideal Choice For Natural Fabrics: Our mercerized cotton thread is especially suitable for natural fabric like cotton and linen fabrics. Since it has almost same washing shrinkage rate as natural fabric, it can avoid causing pucker after washing because of the different shrinkage between fabrics and threads. ★ Spool with Locking Base Resists Thread Tangling: Our new generation snapping spool has a locking base, which is designed for keeping your thread tails from unwinding. If your regular sewing machines haven’t horizontal spool feed and you want to use our good snapping spool, you need a upright thread stand to help leading thread from snapping spools to your machines. ★★★ Tips for better using New brothread mercerized cotton thread: 1), this is 30WT thread which is thicker than normal 40WT sewing or embroidery thread, we recommend use needles with large eye (≥80/12) to prevent stripping. 2), the cotton threads do not stretch a great deal like polyester or nylon threads, please slow down the stitching speed when you have breaking problem.

Excellent yarn 100% cotton

I like that it's 100% cotton because now I prefer all natural fabrics and threads. I used it to sew a dress and hair ties and altered a few clothes. It works for me just as well as the old polyester thread I used before and doesn't cause any problems in my sewing machine. The thread colors are beautiful. I ordered two packs of different colors and they even included some nice cases for them when not in use. Also included are some thread pulling instructions, pretty detailed! I appreciate the…

A versatile thread that works well!

Very pleased with how well this 30 karat cotton yarn has worked in various projects. I made some masks, embroidered them and experimented with decorative seams in all 16 pastel colors. The filament never snapped, went through my red tip needle easily, the selection includes a very good selection of pastels plus true reds and I have used the filament in my bobbins which have worked fine with no problems! ! Inexpensive and just as good if not better than more expensive established brands…

Multicolored cotton thread not only for quilting

These threads are great for quilting but I wanted to try them for embroidery. I've used their plain cotton thread successfully when I wanted a less shiny look. I tried it on a simple design from my machine. This wasn't the best design choice for thread testing. I think this looks and works best on large filled drawings. It brings out the colors - the variegated yarn gives the design a watercolor look. It doesn't bother my Janome machine at all. Slow down and clean up everything well after the…
