Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confidently say that this kitchen thermometer is a shining star. The digital screen is easy to read and the accurate readings mean perfect meals every time. The small size is also great for storage/display. The only downside is that the battery needs to be replaced fairly often. Overall, a fantastic addition to any kitchen!

Thermometer to be calibrated on arrival It was 8 degrees below normal. I used instructions found on the internet for calibrating tests. Calibration instructions were covered with stickers. I had to look them up on the internet. The device takes 30 to 40 seconds to read at higher temperatures so it's definitely not the fastest instant read, but for the price it was good.

bad product. I think I got what I paid for. Received it yesterday and poured a glass of ice water, the measurement took about 1 minute and stopped at 40F. I tried to calibrate and couldn't find any instructions until it took a long time to remove the product label that was stuck to the box with the instructions on it!
