This 10 inch New Star Pie Server is very well made with quality materials and excellent quality. I am very impressed, it is exactly as described and serves its purpose perfectly. I highly recommend it for serving pastries.

I love this stand for cakes, tarts, quiches or anything you need to prepare and transfer from pan to plate. This is a very high quality item that can be found at an expensive hardware store. Good price too! I am very happy

This is a very simple little cake server. The metal is flexible enough to get under the crust but not so flexible that you lose a chunk when serving. The wooden handle fits well and is well sanded, although the stains will come off with cleaning. After several washes, the wood took on a light red color.

I love this cake slicer - I bought it because my mom had the same one with a wooden handle for years. It works great, love the size and feels good in hand. Also, it was quite cheap and appears to be durable. It was a bit embarrassing for Thanksgiving to cut our pretty cakes with a cheap plastic spatula, so I figured it was time to buy one.

It feels terribly in the hand, not to mention the risk of splintering. I tried sanding the rough surface but to no avail. The wood itself is soft and porous. Rinse water would be a disaster and raise the grain even more. I painted the handle with thick acrylic paint hoping it would be smooth. My hand is shatterproof now, but the texture is still rough, rough, and way too cheap.
