We had a family holiday recently. I chose the Hawaiian theme. I bought them for grandchildren aged 4-8 years. They had great success. I originally bought a few at my local craft store but returned them when I found these. This was the best decision as they were much cheaper, much prettier and a better fit. Perfect! We hosted a Moana princess party and had little girls from ages 2 to 8 and thanks to the adjustable velcro they all fit perfectly. They are so cute and well made. Mothers and children loved them and they were adorable in them. I was concerned they would fit each child as children were different sizes, but the velcro adjustment makes them very adjustable.

I used them as decoration. Instead of cutting a large table skirt, I used it in my entertainment center and coffee table. They worked great for the price. As for using them as skirts, they are durable. Velcro together (I looked like an idiot trying to squeeze into one before I figured it out) and they stretch. The further it's pulled, the longer the strands go, and then it looks cheaper, so yes, an adult CAN wear it, but it won't look that great.
