Gigabit speeds at a great price

I'm always a little concerned when I get things advertised as Gigabit from Revain as many cheaper products don't usually work as well. NewerTech definitely nailed it - tested on my 1Gbps downstream and 1Gbps connection.

This is a great adapter for OS X users

This is a great adapter for OS X users. The hardware was recognized immediately without additional driver downloads. It performs well above basic network bandwidth, and I'm glad my Thunderbolt port is available for the display connector. Well done NewTech!

One star deducted in the "Easy to Install " category, but that's not because of the battery.

I used this battery to replace a dead battery in a UPS. It fit well but didn't have the pull tab that an OEM battery has, so getting a replacement in 2-3 years (if I do) will be a daunting task. But until then I will most likely just replace the UPS. A good product.

Works great!

Great alternative for those who have lost or never had a wired Ethernet connection! Popped it into a MacBook Pro (running OS X 10.9.5 and another running OS X 10.12.1) and it just worked with no setup required. The system just took it and ran with it. On some older computers, this adapter provides a faster connection than the built-in Ethernet ports.
