Microphone generates too much static electricity

opened up this mic and fell in love with its sound and performance. but about 5 minutes after the first connection it makes crazy loud noises in my ear and through the mic itself.

Excellent, clear sound quality

I liked this reduction, based on the tape below you get little feedback to tell how crisp and clear your sound is. For the price it's great, I know it's expensive but my friends with Shure SM73 have the same mic quality as mine. I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

General purpose

Great microphone, but overpriced. Target, Best Buy, and other retailers have this exact model for $130, while HYPERX is selling it for $139. If I hadn't opened this up and gone to the HyperX site, I would have thought I'd gotten a great prize. Pros: fast delivery. Cons: $60 more than other stores.

Buggy and not working properly as input / Poor service.

Availability The microphone has malfunctioned and cannot function properly as a microphone. This happened twice in the week I had the mic, but I didn't pay much attention to it, thinking I solved the problem by turning it on and off again. Then the problem started to appear more and more over time. I got to a point where my temporary fixes were no longer usable, so I emailed them my problem. They still haven't contacted me after a month, even after a follow up email.
