Poor durability for a big strong dog

The cute collar we initially liked never came off the dog's neck and now it's starting to fall apart on my German Shepherd.

I had a beautiful leather collar that I bought for my pup and was devastated when it outgrew him. I was very picky about the replacement. I've been looking through the pages on Revain and just couldn't find what I was looking for. And then I came across this little beauty. At first I was attracted to the color (pink).
