Wrong wiring harness for Toyota 3.4L

Knock sensors are cheap but work in 2000 4runner with 3.4L. Binding doesn't work. I don't know what it's for, but it's not a Toyota 3.4L.

Doesn't work on my '96 3rd Gen 4Runner

Based on my mechanical assessment, he said the suspension didn't fit my 4Runner and once the sensors were installed they didn't work either. Now I have to redo it again by paying another $350 for the labor and buying parts again too! Not happy at all.

Both sensors are DEFECTIVE!

Bought this kit to replace the sensors on my '98 4Runner with a 289k as part of the valve cover gaskets "since I was going to be there anyway". I had no pre-existing CEL (Check Engine Light) codes or sensors prior to the replacement, but less than an hour after BOTH knock sensors, bank 1 and 2, were generating codes. (See attached picture). I bought another set of sensors to replace these but now I have to WORK A WHOLE WHOLE DAY to replace them AGAIN! Worst of all, my schedule is so tight that…
