These sterile strips should ALWAYS be in your first aid kit. Have been using this trusted brand in the medical field for many years. Bought these for a little one who had a skin tear near his eye. Excellent adhesion and security for sensitive areas. They are not clean and should not be.

I liked the concept but the stripes were the same length which didn't allow me to go shorter. A patch-like pad is needed to be placed over the injury to absorb body fluid and ointment. Because the strips are long in length, they cannot be adjusted to the desired length. The adhesive is weak and loses its grip when wet.

As a doctor, I prefer Steri-Strips to close 'clean' wounds. No suture-based "railway" scars, and the end results are actually better than sutures. Make sure the wound is not contaminated, Steri-Strip is still better than threads, in case of wound infection they are much easier to remove. I bought them for these reasons.
