After replacing the spark plugs in my Honda with these NGKs the car responded better and seemed more dynamic on the open road.

The gap distance was noticeably different from fork to fork but one should not adjust the gap to that as the tip breaks too easily. not sure if this is a problem or not. Had no effect on my car.

I had a set of NGK spark plugs in my car from the start and they lasted up to about 174,000 miles which should be proof for the quality of NGK. This is a great replacement as towards the end of their life they perform much better than the old ones. My car is much more economical in terms of fuel consumption and even starts faster!

My experience is that NGK connectors in Honda/Acura last longer than other brands. ) to make them removable using the usual methods. NGK says EP isn't required due to the coating on the threads, but I've seen a couple of kits that were very difficult to remove, requiring penetrating oil and careful removal. If you use an anti-seize, remember that the anti-sizing changes the coefficient of friction (acts like a lubricant) and the assembly torque must be reduced by 20% and only a very thin film…

Unfortunately this is the first set of NGK spark plugs with which I am not 100% satisfied. Replaced it a few days ago on my 2005 Honda Pilot (my baby) with a 3.5 liter 6 cylinder engine. The only reason to replace these spark plugs (also NGK with other numbers) was time - over 8 years and 48,000 miles. After fitting new ones, the motor seems a little sluggish and not as strong - we'll see if it gets better in a couple of weeks. There is always a chance that the computer system will "accept"…
