Great little shoulder rest for Arri socket

I liked it, I used it on my shoulder strap to extend the wooden camera grip with Canon C300 mkii. Works great, no complaints.

Pros
  • Made of aluminum alloy, strong and light
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good extension: professional video accessories

Good expansion. Love the little angle so it clears engines or manual FFs. Durable metal and construction. A good budget option for more expensive ones.

Pros
  • Dog Bone socket arm with socket adapter Compatible with ARRI socket, suitable for cranks and other gears with ARRI style socket, such as e.g. B. for RED, for URSA Mini, FS7 or other ARRI compatible device socket.
Cons
  • There are defects

Not the Best: Stabilizers

If you are using heavier camera mounts, be prepared to tighten the loose Phillips head screws on the rosette mounts from time to time. It doesn't happen every day and it's easy to fix, but still a bit annoying.

Pros
  • M6 middle threaded hole applicable to ARRI socket with M6 screw. Diameter 31.8mm.
Cons
  • No performance

Poor quality product

One of the lag bolts became completely loose rendering the lever unusable. Used for its intended purpose and not turned around. The screws holding the bushings in place also regularly loosened, I had to tighten them almost every time I used my hands. The product is of very low quality.

Pros
  • Adjustable wing nut holds accessories in place
Cons
  • So-so

Good thing, but be careful not to over-tighten the wing nut

is a good thing and a great return. But the wing nut design is a bit flimsy and may break if overtightened. I had a strip and I just twisted it until I could get the pliers on it after removing the nut holding the wing nut. fortunately it dragged on completely and was usable until the end of the concert.

Pros
  • With 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for external accessories
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Not the best for accessories

If you're using heavier camera mounts, be prepared to tighten loose Phillips screws on the rosette mounts from time to time. It doesn't happen every day and it's easy to fix, but still a bit annoying.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • I'll write back later
