The file I received did not match the description in .

The file I received was completely different from the description. There are no safe edges, no long angled teeth and it was tapered. It costs more to send back, so it's worth it.

Pros
  • Finishing materials
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Really good file. Very sharp, cuts well

Really good file. Very sharp cuts good. It has a protective edge, which is why I bought it so that the edge of the file doesn't cut off when filing. I only use this to adjust the jaw size of my hand planes. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Grinding and finishing materials
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Good quality rotary file at a reasonable price

Made in Brazil. The quality of Nicholson files has increased since overseas production began. The file is similar to US files and appears sharp with a precise cutting pattern. It cuts 1018 and 4130 steel very quickly. Considering the price and quality, this is good value for money. I compared it to two Simmons files made in India and they are better quality and cut much faster. If you compare it to my old files in the US, it's the same quality. I would recommend buying.
