Works very well to replace a rusted flange. Be sure to use a new gasket to maintain a tight seal. Also compatible with the factory hanger if you clean and re-weld it.

The exhaust flange bolts on my 2009 Cobalt are rusty. The rest of the pipe was fine. One of these on the ethereal side and a bit of grinding and it's quiet again.

Very well made and thought out product. They were used to repair rusty/thin flanges on my 2000 Frontier and 2001 Xterra exhausts and worked GREAT. By using them I saved myself the expense of replacing four expensive tubes that lasted a long time but couldn't fit the gaskets snugly because the flanges were shot. Please note that the exhaust systems mentioned above may require two different sizes (this and option 17149) depending on which pipe connections need to be fitted.
