MUST NOT break easily

I loved this item until it broke. I loved how smoothly one color transformed into another. But one day I turned it on for maybe an hour and it turned itself off and now it won't turn on. I've only had it a month and the light has never been on for more than two hours at a time. I really wish it was more durable and lasted longer.

Cute volcano

I love this volcano. Don't expect anything big but it gets the job done and my axes love the bubbles. It's only annoying if you have sand as a subsoil. There are suction cups on the bottom for the light/air stone part. It can be annoying to get the transparent part to suck in the light, but once it's on it won't detach and floats easily. Love it!

Works best with fish and aquatic animals

Instructions state to soak the bubbler for at least an hour before use. I soaked it for about 4 hours and on my return I installed it in my 30 gallon tank. It worked great in combination with the Mylivell aquarium air pump I bought (super quiet and energy efficient oxygen air pump). The colors change beautifully and the bubbler works really well. Installed in about a week.

You need to buy an air pump separately!

The volcano is super beautiful, even a little bigger than expected. The color display is really good and the bubbles look amazing! The suction cups on the underside of the LED bar are also a great addition. I just didn't understand at first that you need to buy a separate air pump for the volcano to work. The pump is not expensive at all. The Vulkan also comes with the hoses required for the air pump, so all hoses must be purchased. It looks amazing!

1. stopped working, 2. stopped working and killed one of my Glofish tetras!

Very angry now. It was the original bulb, the first one burned out so they sent me a replacement bulb. Now it seems the second one shorted out and what's even more annoying, one of my Tetra Glofish died! Actually just fie, not even put into words. I have PTSD and my fish are helping me with this problem. So if I wake up and find that one of them is dead and then the most likely cause is the bubbler/LED, that's most likely not a good reason. So now I don't have the money I spent on the bubblerโ€ฆ
