A few weeks ago. Nice and bright, like its LED and doesn't heat up. My plants definitely love it. I like it when the blue lights come on briefly before the lights go out late at night.

We received this light to replace the built in TopFin lights on a 10 gallon aquarium. We were surprised at how bright the light was, but our fish are thriving and love the light. The ability to switch from white to blue light is nice and makes for a nice calming effect at night. Light easily adheres to the tank even under water. The largest lamp fits perfectly on the tank between the side wall and the filter.

I bought two of these for my 48 inch aquarium, one for each lid. attached mine at the top of each lid. They are light but not hot. They do not increase the temperature of the water in my aquarium. Suction cups work best when wet. If you stick them dry, they may lose suction. I wet the suction cups first and they stuck for about five weeks. They don't have a timer, but you can connect them to a timer if you want. Blue is relaxing while white is clean and fresh.

If you are looking for other brands downlights, this is for you. It's a lot lighter than Tetra or two Chinese brands I've tried. At first I was concerned about chips with blue light, but the light doesn't have a distinctive blue cast. It just looks like a nice clean white light. It looks good and the suction cups are strong so I'm happy with my purchase. However, it's still not a bright light.
