The star is nice, bright and shiny but I ordered silver and although the star is silver the lights show gold. Second, unless you have a very thick branch, the planting is poorly designed. I had to stuff it with foil to keep it in place. The remote control is great but I want it to interface with my other lights. Not sure if I'll keep it or get it back -

The overall quality of the star is good and if you have some cool LED lights this could be perfect for your Christmas tree. However, in the photos in the list, the star's light becomes much warmer. Unfortunately, it just doesn't fit my tree (sorry!). It also requires a bit of strategy to wedge the star from above, which was fine with my articulated tree but might be tricky with the real tree!

I was very happy with this purchase as I needed a treetop that glows without a fork as it was mounted on a backlit artificial tree and there was no room for forks. It's in. It lit up and worked well - required 3 AA or AAA batteries. A feature was removed, which was nice, but it didn't make it through the Christmas break. It took me a while to get it but it was worth it as the battery powered remote control function made it worth it. It's not particularly pretty, but it's not ugly either, it looks great on the tree, it's very shiny. It has 8 different lighting functions, some of which would work well if you were using it in a nightclub 🤷‍♀️ but I like that it's versatile.
