Use them to work well for Accessories

I've received many compliments on it. Because they're lower than a headlamp, they're good for busy trails; they do not shine light directly into people's eyes. I would use a headlamp if you are in an area with very poor visibility and there are no other people around. I run with them when it's early evening and I've never had a problem with them falling off.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Some maintenance

I've wanted an LED shoe light since I saw Married With Children in 1987, when Al Bundy made spotlight shoes for his daughter Kelly [actress Christina Applegate] to try his creation in those lights. People laugh at this idea, now in the 21st century we finally have it. Very bright LED lights in low, high or stroboscopic light.

Amazing Night Walking Accessory

This is my second pair - ordered a spare because they are great! These gizmos are great for night walks. You charge them via USB. The first charge takes about 5 hrs and then about 3 after that. I go about 1.25 hrs a night and they last the whole time. They also stay in place perfectly - at least when walking, not sure when running. I suspect they probably would have made it through a second walk but didn't want to test it. The light is bright enough that I don't have to lug around a flashlight…

I love the lighting for the Night Runner shoes!

Last year I started running before work while it was still dark. I used to only use a headlamp, but it didn't give me enough light and I was afraid of tripping and falling. I heard about these shoe lights and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I love her! I've been using both a headlamp and shoe lights for the past few weeks and I see much better on pre-dawn runs. I recommend following the "extended lacing" technique to ensure they stay in place. I will also mention that initially I…

Lost One First wearing

Tried to use for the moon race last night but no moonlight because of the clouds :). They emit light about 3-4 feet ahead and 30 feet away. I applied to a runner just like in the video on her website. Towards the end of the 5k race one got lost unbeknownst to me. The road was paved but had branches and moss on it due to the recent rain. It was lit with glow sticks in the middle of a road/path that didn't have enough light. Next time I'll carry more lights, maybe a headlamp or ankle lanterns and

Nothing fancy, overpriced

As a daily night runner I was very happy to find this product. I looked at the reviews, declined the alternatives and finally ordered. I work the night shift and have been running at night for many years, so I already have a huge stock of various flashlights, belt lights, headlamps, etc. Pros: Light weight. Increases your visibility to drivers. Multiple settings. The snow didn't seem to bother her. Cons: Doesn't light the road. It says "up to 30 feet, but even in bright light I'd say it was 6…

Mmm, not so much.

Received after falling early one morning while running in the dark. When I first used them I was very excited. I'm by no means a marathon runner, I run about an hour every other day. I charged them before first use. My run was exactly 59 minutes, they were easy to install and worked great. Today was the second time I've used them, a big disappointment. I replaced the laces with elastic ones, so I find the handle is not secure. As I ran, the right light came from my tennis shoes. I had to run…
