"Night glow" is the wrong term. It doesn't glow in the dark or anything like that. But it's a nice light turquoise that's easier to see in low light. The strap makes it easy to carry and I don't worry if the remote falls off. I still have full remote functionality.

My apple tv remote kept slipping through the cracks in my couch etc etc. I've seen it and tried it and it changed everything, even if it falls it doesn't break because it's protected. I highly recommend. Not sure if it actually glows in the dark, maybe I need to activate it by placing it next to a lightbulb or something.

I like the look of the product but here are my experiences. When I put it on the Apple TV remote, the first thing I noticed was that I lost control of advancing and retracting (press right. press left on the Apple screen) for 15 seconds as soon as I took it off the remote got slide it back and forth 15 seconds ) seconds are back. If that's not a problem for you, it works and looks good.

Works for what we needed it for, which is to make the Apple TV remote harder to lose. It's such a slippery little remote with no case, and we always lost it in sofa cushions or something. This case makes it more visible and less slippery thanks to the grippy silicone material. Unfortunately, I chose this case because of the glow feature, but it doesn't glow under any conditions (we tested it under many conditions).

I love this case, it gives my furniture enough support that my remote control doesn't fall into my furniture cushions anymore. It's also nice and easy to spot compared to the black and gray remote on my dark furniture. My only complaint is that the touchpad portion of the lid protrudes about 4-5mm on each side of the remote's touchpad and there are certain bumps or clicks where it gets in the way. To get around this, you have to swipe the remote and pull the lid off in one motion.

This cap is great for helping you tell where the top is, especially in the dark. It's a very eye-catching color that, while technically glow-in-the-dark, doesn't glow enough to noticeably stand out. This can actually be a good thing because if it leaks too much it will be distracting. The glow is enough to stand out in total darkness, making it easy to find and line up properly in your hand. The material is soft and smooth but has a slightly sticky silicone. Still not sticking to lint or dirt…
