They appear to be a lot larger than the original Sunburst, so if you're switching from the old ones you might want a shoe store to try them on. I love these sandals. I bought these for afos or my toddler's leg braces and they can adjust to accommodate the size of the braces. They're light, so her poor legs aren't any heavier than they already are with braces on. It also gives her legs a lot of air when wearing braces so her feet don't get too hot, sweaty and uncomfortable when she rubs them with her braces, she has no problem walking, climbing and just playing. I have been buying these shoes for my son for many years. It's perfect because it can be worn on the beach, it's lightweight and it's waterproof. It can play in the playground, rubber outsole and snug fit. And they are very comfortable. From the beach to the amusement park, my son has worn them summer after summer. The previous smaller sizes appear to be fabric. They are more like rubber but my son says they are very comfortable. They are exactly the same as the previous smaller sizes.
