Very glad I bought the lenses. Shipped from Japan but arrived fairly quickly. The lens is very sharp and really complements my arsenal of solid gear. The lens is used but works and looks like new. Very grateful to the seller.

I have been using this lens for about a month now and I still love it as much as the day I received it. Amazingly sharp photo quality and no show-through at the edges. I did my homework before purchasing and am glad I chose this lens over the 14-24mm. I like the fact that 77mm filters are required, which are also pretty easy to find.

As another reviewer noted, I suspect it was an open box or demo/show lens could have. It was a US market lens, it came with all parts/accessories/etc but the box was badly worn and the rubber of the lens was covered in chalk. Or maybe it was a very old stock they wanted to sell since it was over $200 cheaper than another Nikon 16-35 F/4 VR "Choice Revain" list at the time. Despite this, I found the lens to have very strong low-level distortion (although most of the time it can be fixed in PP)…
