📷 Nikon COOLPIX S3100 14 MP Digital Camera: Wide-Angle Lens, 5x Optical Zoom, 2.7-Inch LCD (Yellow) Review

I bought this camera from Revain about a month ago. It's easy to use and takes great pictures. It also has a large screen for viewing before taking a picture. This is a very small camera that fits perfectly in my purse, I just love it!

You can't beat this camera for the price. My kids have the more expensive Kodak, Samsung, and HP, and they're all in trouble. In the near future I will replace it with Nikon Coolpix. It's small enough to carry around in my bag on vacation without feeling like I'm lugging a camera around. The cost of this model is also pretty low, so I won't get upset if it accidentally breaks. Picture quality is excellent, as are many scene adjustments.

I needed a small camera and did some research on the cameras. I felt like Nikon was a trustworthy name, but after 15 shots the thing didn't bother me anymore. I haven't dropped it or done anything that might damage it. I researched further online and asked a few people I knew and found 3 friends who bought the same camera and had the SAME thing happen to them. Lots of problems with this camera for some reason. I sent it back and bought a Lumix. Sooo glad I did. THAT is a great camera!

I bought two of these cameras, one for my daughter and one for myself as a carry camera. several months of light use. The lens does not protrude from the camera body - probably due to defective internal mechanisms. These cameras have not been treated roughly. They are simply poorly designed and manufactured. they broke hard. 16MP is a joke. Jpgs have extremely poor image quality and appear to be made up of "blurry pixels". Looks nice and advertised as such, but this camera is not worth the money. It's very difficult to take pictures indoors or in any light, even if it's slightly dimmed so they aren't blurry/almost indistinguishable. Changing the camera settings doesn't help either. I was also very disappointed with the movie quality, which was heavily touted as a great feature: it doesn't feel like HD and can only record a few minutes at a time. It's been two and a half years since I bought this camera and I have to say it's almost like the first day apart from a few scratches it works Great. I use it almost every day, its compact size allows me to carry it in my bag or pocket! Very comfortable to wear and use and offers great picture quality, can't complain.
