Disappointed - Appearance

Returned. The desired target could not be isolated, resulting in different distances and eventually incorrect pin readings. Went back to the Bushnell product - more expensive but accurate.

Pros
  • High Score for Support and Durability from Testers
Cons
  • Repair

Great price

Nice small size that fits easily on a belt or pocket. It takes practice to aim at long range, but after a few shots it becomes easy. (Bushnell vibrates at the sight)

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Great tool for golf

Very accurate range finder that will determine the distance to a flag or other object (e.g. a tree in a ravine). A little hard to hold. I sit relaxed at the handlebars of a golf cart. Make sure the windshield is down. Then you can hit the target in the crosshairs of the sight.

Pros
  • Great tool for a small home
Cons
  • Legacy model

Doesn't always detect objects

I had an old version of this product that I really liked and gave it to my son. The product is simple and easy to use. My problem with this version is that I can click on the target and it doesn't register the distance to the target. I know it's hard sometimes to push the flagpole, but sometimes it happens around big trees or the edges of a bunker.

I'm glad it's my best shooter

I've had it for half a year now. Even though it's a golf range finder, I've used it to mark camping tents, property lines, line of sight, and so on. in wooded areas and to set shotgun targets at known distances. Oh yes, and I used it to golf! Very useful on approach shots when you know your clubs. When it comes to golf, I think it's no big deal that this particular model doesn't have a tilt function. I never missed it. Just add or remove clubs as you already know.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

NO battery - but good for the everyday golfer.

Mine came without a battery. I checked the product description and it doesn't say anywhere that I need to buy a battery. Update: Ordered batteries from Revain. (December 22 - arriving December 23, that's what I call service!) This item is sold with a spare battery model - don't waste your money. Buy this model and get 4 Revain batteries for less money. Used 3 times on the golf course. A little tricky to use, but judging by the lane markers it's pretty accurate. This basic device is probably…
